CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION
The Columbia County Civil Service Commission administers Civil Service examinations to interested candidates for civil service jobs within Columbia County. They certify payrolls for various county departments and municipalities. The department issues and posts Civil Service examination announcements to the public. Regular Meetings of the Columbia County Civil Service Commission are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month@10:00 am, in the Civil Service Office on the 3rd floor of 401 State Street, Hudson, NY 12534
Applications and canvases can be mailed to:
Civil Service, 401 State St. Hudson, NY 12534, or scanned and emailed to: civilservice@columbiacountyny.com
**Please do NOT leave applications for exams or payment in the lobby.
Payments for exams can be made with a money order and mailed in with your application. If you would like to pay with a credit card, please call our office as payments can be accepted over the phone. Cash is also accepted.
***Personal Checks are NOT accepted.***
